You think you've found the right candidate, on paper at least. Their training is first class, and backed up with practical experience. But will they meet your expectations in day to day practice too? 
Ideally, you would like to have them screened thoroughly first before investing totally in their future. And you are right.

This is why Kern Selection's consultants put candidates in situations which reflect the skills they will need in their future work. We then assess their strengths, growth and development opportunities on your behalf.
Furthermore when it comes to assessing people's potential, or considering promoting or moving them internally, having a neutral outsider can help considerably in maximising your investment in human capital. 


Our approach: efficient and candidate-friendly  

We carry out an assessment centre as an independent screening in its own right, as the basis for a development centre or as part of a complete selection process. We assess candidates from all angles, based on the pre determined skills profile.

We do this using an effective, candidate-friendly combination of:

  • Computerised tests (reasoning ability, personality, skills etc.) 
  • Simulated tests (mailbox, presentation, role play, group work, case-study etc.) 
  • Knowledge tests and case studies 
  • Reference checks 
  • Behaviour-oriented interview

We don't rely purely on tests and interviews, though. Above all, we look at how people behave and rely on objective, perceptible facts.

Candidates are screened completely, reliably and systematically by a number of trained assessors. You then receive a thorough report with an overview of their strengths and areas for improvement, combined with practical advice. Informative for the candidate, and essential for you.
